Course Packs & Copyright Services MSU Printing Services offers the best value in quality course packs. That’s why the Associated Students of MSU recommends us to MSU faculty and students. To assist our clients, we will:
- pick up originals at client’s office
- produce and bind course packs
- distribute course packs for sale at one of our copy centers or at the MSU Bookstore
- deliver originals and desk copies to a client’s office
- archive course packs for easy reprinting year after year
To ensure compliance with copyright guidelines, our Copyright Services office will:
- evaluate clearance needs
- verify the bibliography
- contact rights holders to request duplication rights
- provide a priced bibliography that shows what individual students will pay to use each item specified
- process payment of all permissions fees and royalties
- archive a bibliography for quick clearance year after year
As a part of MSU, we are able to obtain low, non-profit educational permission rates for students. And our strong relationships with many major rights holders provide us the opportunity to negotiate further reductions – or even permissions free of charge.
